2" Faux Wood Blinds
Humidity-stable, sturdy, paints and stains true. The workhorse for Tiger Point, Villa Venyce, and the bay-side stock where real wood would bow.

Custom-built, coastal-tested
Faux wood, roller, cellular, and motorized blinds for Tiger Point, Villa Venyce, Country Club Estates, and the Pensacola Beach condos off the Bob Sikes Bridge.
Now serving Santa Rosa County
Gulf Breeze sits on the peninsula between Pensacola Bay and Santa Rosa Sound, with the Bob Sikes Bridge running south to Pensacola Beach. That gives most Gulf Breeze homes exposure on both sides: bay-front to the north and sound-front to the south, with the Gulf reachable in a fifteen-minute drive. Tiger Point, Villa Venyce, Country Club Estates, and the older Holley-on-the-Bay stock all share the same humidity reality. Salt mist reaches every window. Real wood blinds bow inside three seasons. We default to faux wood and poly across nearly every Gulf Breeze install.
The bedrooms and bathrooms tell a different story. Bedrooms want light control: roller shades in a 5 percent open Designer Screen during the day, blackout liner behind for sleep. Bathrooms want mildew-resistant fabric, which the Hunter Douglas Designer Screen line and Graber shade fabrics cover well. Kitchens get faux wood in 2 inch slats. The bonus rooms and dens that look out at the back yard or the bay want vertical blinds with wand control for the sliding-glass doors.
Where you want app or voice control, we motorize roller and cellular shades with Lutron RA3 or Somfy. Standard lead time is 2 to 4 weeks; motorized adds 1 to 2 weeks. Schedule the in-home measure and we will walk every opening with you.
The lines we install

Humidity-stable, sturdy, paints and stains true. The workhorse for Tiger Point, Villa Venyce, and the bay-side stock where real wood would bow.

Light control and energy savings. Hunter Douglas Designer Screen and Sonnette cellular. Lifetime warranty on the lift. Motorizes cleanly with Lutron or Somfy.

The right call for sliding-glass doors out to the screened patio. Wand control, kid-safe, easy to live with. Fabric, vinyl, and faux wood vertical lines.
What Gulf Breeze blinds actually need
Gulf Breeze homes catch salt mist from both Pensacola Bay and Santa Rosa Sound. Real wood blinds bow inside three years even inland on the peninsula. Faux wood holds true. Poly is also fine. We do not bid basswood blinds in Gulf Breeze unless the homeowner specifically wants the look and accepts the trade-off.
Bathroom roller shades need a mildew-resistant fabric coating. Hunter Douglas Designer Screen and Graber roller fabrics carry MR coatings that survive Gulf Breeze bath humidity. We will not spec a standard untreated polyester roller in a Tiger Point bathroom.
Gulf Breeze homes almost all have a screened patio out the back with a sliding-glass door. String-pull verticals tangle and reach for kids. Wand control or motorized verticals are standard for us on every sliding-door application here.
The bedroom and great-room roller shades pair well with a Lutron RA3 hub. Schedule a 6:30 AM bedroom rise, an automatic 11 AM living-room descent when the sun hits the west elevation, and a sunset close for the kitchen. We have done full RA3 retrofits in Villa Venyce and Country Club Estates homes.
Tiger Point, Villa Venyce, and Country Club Estates all have a gate but no engineering-letter requirement for interior blinds. We give the guard the install date and call ahead. Standard for us across Gulf Breeze.
If you have plantation shutters in formal rooms and want blinds in bedrooms, we match the cord color, valance, and sightline so the house reads as one design. Same idea if you want roller shades behind plantation shutters for blackout in the primary bedroom.
