The project
North Hill, Pensacola.
A North Hill Acadian Creole home built in 1924 with original arched transoms over double-hung dining windows. The historic register filing required period-appropriate ivory rather than bright white. We custom-templated every opening, specified basswood with 3.5 inch louvers.
What we installed
Three details that made the install.
Custom-templated basswood panels
Every opening templated on site to its actual dimensions, accounting for the 1924 framing's accumulated drift.
Arched transom panels with operable louvers
Fixed panels following the existing arch radii, but with louvers that tilt for light control.
Ivory finish, period-appropriate
Color-matched to the existing trim with a sample swatch; required by the historic register filing.
