Destiny by the Sea, Destin.
A Destiny by the Sea two-story dining with arched upper transoms over a wall of double-hung windows. The bay-side proximity meant humidity was a daily reality; the existing wood shutters had developed visible swell at the hinges. We specified composite shutters across the wall, custom-templated arched panels for the transoms, ivory finish to match the existing trim.

Composite shutter wall
Specifically chosen for the bay-side humidity; composite does not swell or warp at the hinges like the previous wood units.
Custom-templated arched transom panels
Three arched fixed panels with operable louvers, templated on site to the actual arch radii.
3.5 inch louvers, hidden tilt rod
Sized to the dining-window scale; hidden tilt rod preserves the long sightline across the two-story wall.
