Kelly Plantation, Destin.
A Kelly Plantation guest bedroom with a wide patio slider opening to the back patio and pool. The previous owner had plastic verticals that had yellowed in the Florida sun. We replaced them with fabric verticals in off-white pleated panels, with a returned valance and a wand control.
What we installed

Fabric vertical blinds, off-white pleated
Soft fabric reads warmer than vinyl; off-white prevents the closed sightline from going dark.
Returned valance
Valance turned to wall on each end; eliminates the gap that vinyl verticals leave.
Wand control
Quiet operation; no chain to pull.
