The project
Holiday Isle, Destin.
A two-story beachfront on Holiday Isle. Six openings on the Gulf-facing elevation, two on the bay side. The homeowners wanted view-preserving daytime shade plus full blackout for nighttime sleep, all controllable from a phone since they spend half the year at a second home. We specified dual-layer rollers with Somfy motors, integrated into a new Lutron RA3 system.
What we installed

Dual-layer roller shades, eight openings
Light-filtering screen for view preservation; separate blackout layer for sleep. Each layer operates independently.
Somfy motors with Lutron RA3 integration
All eight openings tied into the master scene controller; one button drops the entire Gulf-facing wall.
Phone control plus wall pico switches
Remote control from the secondary residence; physical pico switches at the bedside for in-house operation.
