A Cinco Bayou home with a coastal-rustic aesthetic of stained wood beams and a stone fireplace. The homeowners wanted shutters that would honor the existing wood tones rather than fight them with bright white. We specified basswood plantation shutters in an espresso stain, 3.5 inch louvers, sized to the modestly scaled double-hung windows.
